Our U13 and U16 girls play in the Limestone Coast Women's Football League (LCWFL), and we're proud to share this.
In November 2025 the league held a whole-league Dolly's Dream Round. The theme was "Changing the culture to end bullying in sport." Players, coaches, supporters and volunteers turned the grounds blue and raised $700 for Dolly's Dream.
Dolly's Dream thanked the league publicly, noting the LCWFL is the only independent women's footy league in South Australia and praising its commitment to safer, kinder sporting communities.
Who is Dolly's Dream?
Dolly's Dream is an Australian charity working to change the culture of bullying and cyberbullying and its impact on young people. It was started by Kate and Tick Everett after they lost their 14-year-old daughter, Amy "Dolly" Everett, in 2018 following ongoing bullying. It works in partnership with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, with a strong focus on families and communities in rural, remote and regional Australia, communities like ours.
What they do:
- Bullying Support Line (13 DOLLY / 13 36 55): free, confidential, 24/7 phone and online chat support with Kids Helpline counsellors, for anyone being bullied or supporting someone who is.
- Bullying Support Hub: online guidance and tools for parents, carers and teachers.
- School and community workshops on digital safety, respectful behaviour and standing up to bullying.
- The Beacon app: cyber-safety guidance to help families manage technology and online behaviour.
- Youth Mental Health First Aid training for adults supporting teenagers.
What it means at Hatherleigh
Bullying has no place at our club, on the field, on the court, in the rooms or online. Our Code of Behaviour asks everyone to treat people with respect. If something isn't right, speak to a coach, team manager or committee member.
