Four flags in the 80th year

The 2026 season will be remembered as one of the finest in Hatherleigh's history.

Four Hatherleigh teams came home premiers — A Grade and B Grade football, and A Reserve and B Grade netball — while Junior Colts football, U15 netball and U13 netball reached grand finals and finished runners-up.

It is a result that reaches right across the club, football and netball. It arrives in the club's 80th year, eight decades after Hatherleigh was formed in 1946 — and delivers a third consecutive A Grade premiership under coach Tom Hutchesson.

Hatherleigh also had the honour of hosting the 2026 MSEFL Grand Final on Saturday 12 September.
