On Saturday 30 May 2026 Hatherleigh welcomed past players, supporters and community members to Brooksy's Bar at the Hatherleigh Sport & Recreation Centre. They came to celebrate 40 years since the unforgettable 1986 Reserves premiership.
It was a day to reconnect, share memories and honour a special chapter in Hatherleigh history.
A premiership to remember
The 1986 flag was the club's second Reserves (B Grade) premiership, following the first in 1964. The grade has since added more in 2008, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2026. 1986 was also a big year across the club, with Craig Skeer kicking 117 goals to lead the MSEFL A Grade goalkicking.
